Google recently announced the launch of its upcoming version of the Operating System, Android 7.0 Nougat, after its last release of Android 6.0 Marshmallow. After the launch, all the devices supporting Android OS will be going under the update. This new version of OS is rumored to bring some major changes keeping the visual changes similar to the previous ones.
Tech companies have already started updating their flagship phones with the latest Android version and the foremost name on the list to implement the update goes to the Nexus. The company has updated the version in their Nexus 6P and Nexus 5X models. Other companies too have started updating it.
Huawei, considered to be slow in the updating process as said by many, has too started the updating process and it has announced its model Huawei Mate 9 to be updated with Android 7.0 Nougat. With this, Huawei Mate 8 will also be updated with the same.
The company has also made the update available and those using the brand can not avail it through the Huawei servers, it has not been made official now. The update of other phones through servers has will not be declared until the new model Huawei will hit the market, confirmed via source.
The release of the Huawei Mate 9 was to be announced on the 3rd of November; meanwhile, a beta preview of Nougat for the Huawei P9 model was already appeared in July this year, making it available before Google did it for Nexus. The news for the update of the P9 model was questionable kept quite since then, the P9 gets in the list of the first Huawei phone with Nova to get updated with the new version.
Despite all the chaos created, the Huawei Mate 9 looks great!
