Motorola is known for updating devices quick to the latest Android version. It is one of the first to release updates for its Android phones, even before most of the other giants do. This time, the Chicago-based telecommunications company revealed the list of devices that will get Android 7.0 Nougat update, with a different note.

Fans' angst came true, and thousands were let down when the company confirmed that Moto E3 Power is not getting the new firmware update. Perhaps Motorola users cannot flaunt their phones with the latest versions of Android just yet since several popular devices, including Moto X (2nd Gen), Moto X (3rd Gen), Moto G3, Moto E3, and Moto E3 Power, were not on the list, as reported by International Business Times.

Furthermore, Motorola has already revealed the Android 7.0 Nougat update for Moto G4, Moto G4 Plus, Moto Z, Moto Z Force, Moto Z Droid and Moto Z Droid Force. Moto Z Droid and Z Force Droid are now receiving a low volume bug fix and latest Android security patches. Other gadgets that are eligible for the new OS but are yet to receive it are Moto Z Play, Moto G Play (4th Gen), Moto X Pure Edition (3rd Gen), Moto X Style, Moto X Play, Moto X Force, Droid Turbo 2 and Droid Maxx 2.
