Samsung Galaxy A3, A5, and A7 will be receiving the Android 7.0 update. The rollout is scheduled to take place in May this year.
Testing for Android 7.0 Nougat update for Samsung Galaxy A3, A5 and A7 is currently ongoing. Owners of the said Samsung phone models will be much delighted to this news. This update will soon be released this coming May according to Android Soul.
It may look sooner but actually, there was already a delay for it was originally intended to be released this April. Galaxy A3 (2016) update is supposed to be released on the 24th of this month but it was rescheduled to the first week of May. The Samsung Galaxy A3 2016 is receiving the Android Nougat this April as the device was spotted on Geekbench running Android 7.1.1 Nougat in March. The three mentioned Samsung Galaxy phones would not be updated in the same time. 2016 Galaxy A5 is scheduled to be updated on May 22-28, together with the 2016 Galaxy A7.
Though the dates of the update are fixed but it will not be the same for everyone because the update will still depend on the carrier. Sometimes carriers require pre-approval before releasing an update. This would mean that there would be an additional time of waiting between the releasing of the update from the company and the carrier's approval.
This might be a possibility to this upcoming Samsung Galaxy A3, A5 and A7 update but it seems that this is pushing through in May unless there will be an unexpected error in the update itself and another is more likely to happen. Users of these Samsung models are crossing their fingers that the update will no longer be delayed as it can be recalled that it was already reported in December 2016 but has since been delayed.
