Google started rolling out Android 7.0 Nougat to Nexus devices on 22 August, while other devices will soon get their updates. Google has also confirmed it is working with device manufacturers to bring the Nougat update to most devices in the market.
Nexus devices
Google has confirmed the Nexus 6, Nexus 5X, Nexus 6P, Nexus 9, Nexus Player and Pixel C would all be getting an over-the-air updates.
Google has started the Android 7.1 beta programme, bringing Daydream VR support and other goodies to devices prior to full release and that started on 19 October. The Nexus 5X, Nexus 6P and Pixel C can all get access to Android 7.1 now.
BlackBerry
There are no rumors or any official update about Blackberry Android Updates. Blackberry Android based phones are likely to get the update on early 2017.
HTC
HTC 10, HTC One A9 and the HTC One M9, as well as carrier versions can expect Android Nougat around the end of November 2016.
Huawei
Huawei is launching the Mate 9 with Android Nougat before the end of the year. We can expect an update in Dec. The Honor series are likely to get the updates in early 2017.
LG
LG V20 will be released with Android 7.0 in late November. After tha, tLG G5 will get update soon while LG G4 may have to wait a few more months but early 2017 is plausible based on this year's update schedule.
Motorola
The list of smartphones getting the updates includes, Moto G (4th Gen), Moto G Plus (4th Gen), Moto G Play (4th Gen), Moto X Pure Edition (3rd Gen), Moto X Style, Moto X Play, Moto X Force, Droid Turbo 2, Droid Maxx 2, Moto Z, Moto Z Droid, Moto Z Force Droid, Moto Z Play and Moto Z Play Droid. There is no report regarding the release date of updates from Motorola.
OnePlus
One Plus was quick this time in launching the beta testing version of Android Nougat, which is doing rounds among fans since August this year. The official version release date is not announced yet. We expect it to be early 2017.
Samsung
Samsung has rolled out beta-Nougat 7.0 for its Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge. In UK and S.Korea. It is confirmed that the Note 5, S6, S6 edge, S7 and S7 edge will receive early updates. However, no announcement for other smartphones is reported.
Sony Xperia
According to an official blog post by Sony itself, the company has revealed which devices are going to get Android 7.0 Nougat.
"We will make Android 7.0, Nougat available for: Xperia Z3+, Xperia Z4 Tablet, Xperia Z5, Xperia Z5 Compact, Xperia Z5 Premium, Xperia X, Xperia XA, Xperia XA Ultra, Xperia X Performance - and Xperia XZ & Xperia X Compact.
