Disney produces a lot of good family films over the centuries. One of Disney's animated films that broke a lot of records was Frozen. Now, fans are waiting for the release of "Frozen 2."
Disney's Frozen was able to earn $250 million all over the world in a few days. The official soundtrack of the film "Let it go" by singer Demi Lovato was sitting on the music chart for several weeks and was considered as the greatest official soundtrack ever made for the animated film.
Idina Menzel who played the character Snow Queen Elsa received numerous awards for her performances and made her career through another level, as reported by iTech Post. Because of the animated film's success, there are reports saying that "Frozen 2" is in the works. However, there is no official announcement from the producers of the movie yet.
A confirmation was made by one of Frozen's main cast, Kristen Bell who played as Princess Anna that "Frozen 2" script is in progress. Also, reports have surfaced that some of the cast have started voice recording to catch up with the late 2017 release schedule.
According to Gackhollywood, Idina Menzel, Kristen Bell, Josh Gad who plays Elsa, Anna and Olaf will continue to reprise their roles for "Frozen 2." Not only them, it was also reported that the other members of the cast who plays Kristoff, Sven and the Trolls are all also coming back to reprise their role in the sequel.
So far, there aren't any announcements or news about any addition to the "Frozen 2" cast. Fans can expect to see the same main cast again in the sequel, just like many have expected.
Since there isn't any official announcement from the producers, the exact release date of "Frozen 2" up until now remains unknown. Despite reports that the film is due for release in 2017, it seems that the film's production will need more time and a 2018 release date is more likely.
