Asus ZenFone 3 has been officially released in May 2016 but it seems like the company wants it users to wait a little longer for its update. The much anticipated Android 7.0 Nougat is packed with several improvements that would make the ZenFone 3 even more exciting, and probably, this is the reason why those who are waiting will be disappointed.

The Android 7.0 Nougat is undoubtedly better than the previous updates as it is all about increasing functionality, enhancement of the pre-existing features, and further development of whatever is still possible on Android. It has maintained some of the features from Marshmallow, though, such as the home screen and app drawer design but it created new visual features that will surely excite its users. One of which is having a newly designed Settings menu and notification area. (via Android Authority)

Meanwhile, Asus Philippines has recently pushed the said Android 7.0 update and this had made its users believe that it will the same thing will happen all over the world. However, the excitement was cut off because the company had stopped the update for the ZenFone 3. According to Tech Times, the company has put the update on hold because it needs to fix minor bug issues.

Asus decided to take action as it does not want to jeopardize the name of the company. This is also to avoid any disappointment from its users for having low quality in exchange for releasing Android 7.0 Nougat immediately.

Meanwhile, Phone Arena reported that there's still no word from the brand regarding the date when the issues will be resolved and when the update will be re-released. Instead, it has sent advice to its Asus Zenfone 3 users to "kindly wait" and turn the auto update on through their phone's Setting menu. Now, all the user have to do is wait for a "pop-up" whenever the update is available in the market.
