Finally, "Fallout 4" mods will soon be gracing the PlayStation 4 and players of the console will soon gain access to some of the most wicked mods, provided that they are fine with the limitation of in-game assets only.
As of the moment, there are 110 compatible mods for the PlayStation 4 available from Bethesda's official website. While the list is steadily growing, fans are well-aware of some of the restrictions, specifically the limitation of being only able to use the game's assets.
Still, Bethesda mentioned that the company is still discussing and negotiating with Sony in order to provide a complete modding experience with "Fallout 4." This is without any restrictions as most of the real game-changing ones tend to be from a user-generated content and an external asset.
Still, this isn't to say that players won't be able to enjoy the already available mods waiting for the go signal. Mods such as Firelance, Portable Nuka Jetpack and Developer Room are just some of the great mods to fiddle around.
While there are some imposed restrictions, the amount of compatible mods are still starting to become impressive and some would even allow players to provide some small aesthetic improvement in the game's actors, settlements and even lore and not lore friendly gameplay mechanics changes.
Still, for those looking to play "Fallout 4" in its most glorious form through mods can get it for the PC. This may still be an option for those who haven't gotten the game, got a PC and is waiting for potential Black Friday deals this Thanksgiving.
However, players should be noted that even with these mods being tagged as compatible from Bethesda's website, none of them have been implemented yet for the PlayStation 4so players will still have to wait for an official announcement.
Be sure to stay tuned for more "Fallout 4" PlayStation 4 mods news and updates.
