News about Nintendo NX getting revealed next week have started surfacing. If any, the significance of the date links to the fifth anniversary of Nintendo Direct though a December launch might make more sense.

The hype for Nintendo's next upcoming console is very far from dying and an October reveal for Nintendo NX could be one of the lesser possible things that may happen. According to speculations and theories like from Neurogadget, the figures would make a lot of sense given that Nintendo will have five months to polish up any rough edges on the console before the targeted March 2017 release.

However, another possibility of making this less likely to happen is the fact that the only significant event for October 21 is the company's fifth anniversary for Nintendo Direct, its own video marketing and community feature.

Another theory that may make fans believe this is the fact that Nintendo's Q2 Earning Report is about to be released on October 26. Still, Nintendo was firm when it announced that they would still prefer keeping quiet in order for the potential imitators not to be able to release the technology ahead of them.

Lastly, for those that might have missed the news, Nintendo Canada's GM Pierre-Paul Trepanier said that Nintendo will discuss Nintendo NX matters by the end of the year as reported by Gamnesia. This is one strong factor to consider regarding the Nintendo NX's reveal.

"We decided to focus on Zelda. We'll talk about the NX by the end of the year. At that time, it will be 100% NX. [At E3] it is 100% Zelda." - Pierre-Paul announced at this year's E3.

With all these facts, the possibility of Nintendo NX getting revealed late December or even early January is more likely than of it coming out this October. Still, companies like Nintendo have a knack of changing its mind at a bat of an eye so anything can happen from here on out.

What matters is, with these three remaining months that we have this year, the Nintendo NX will finally be revealed and hopefully, its neither too late nor too early for the company.
