While it didn't last that long, a lot of people and news outlets were able to take a glimpse of what appeared to be a slip up from TESCO. The Nintendo NX was listed to be a console that's scheduled to be out on December 31. However, something else seems to be more interesting than the release date.

As it appeared on TESCO's website, the Nintendo NX showed up to be scheduled for launch by the end of the year. For a lot of people, this appears as a mistake, which resulted in the product being taken down shortly.

Fortunately, a number of online news sites like Geek.com were able to capture a screenshot of when the product listing was still active, though not with an image to accompany it.

The release date could possibly be a mistake, especially the on-going Nintendo pre-order campaign. On several cases, the date December 31 on whichever year could also be considered as a place-holder date for something with indefinite release.

What was even more interesting is the price tag it went with. Contrary to what a lot of people have been expecting, the Nintendo NX appeared to be something even more expensive than the PlayStation 4 Pro itself.

Priced at at £349.99 or $450, a lot of people got skeptical and dumbfounded, especially those who are aware of the recent leaks and speculations regarding Nintendo NX's processing power.

If anything, a higher price also spells better specs or more innovative features or both. The subject have already started sparking debates whether the console needs more beefed up specs that could even beat the current PlayStation 4 or even the upcoming Xbox Scorpio.

A lot of people still believe that Nintendo NX will be out this coming March of 2017, but the price it showed up in the listing is really interesting. It could hint another mistake or possibly, a beast lineup of hardware that will scream graphics, immersion and Super Mario possibly in 4K.
