Nintendo Switch chatter has spiked as we inch closer to the console's January reveal. After its epic revelation in October 2016, fans can't wait to lay their hands on the new Nintendo console.

Big changes are expected to come to Nintendo with the New Year with its release of Nintendo Switch. Nintendo is looking forward to overcoming the relative failure of the Nintendo Wii U next year as it releases the highly-anticipated Nintendo Switch console.

It can be recalled that the Wii U wasn't able to market itself successfully and left many gamers confused. Wii U ended up being Nintendo's lowest selling game console at only 14 million units sold worldwide.

Nintendo Switch, the latest console from Nintendo, is a hybrid device which aims to combine the best elements of both handheld and home gaming into an experience that can be played anywhere. With a tiered performance of its system. the device's GPU will most likely be faster when the system is plugged in, rather than when it's mobile.

Nintendo disclosed that the new console provides single and multiplayer thrills at home. Not only that, Nintendo Switch system also enables gamers to play the same title wherever, whenever and with whomever they choose. To enable unprecedented new video game play styles, the mobility of a handheld is now added to the power of a home gaming system.

As for its appearance, the recent trailer revealed that Nintendo Switch will use Cartridges, much like classic consoles and Nintendo DS series. It is made of one base unit with a 720p screen. It also comes with two controller called Joy-Cons which can give players a Wii U Gamepad-style experience.

Nintendo already confirmed that Nintendo Switch would launch in March 2017 and that's still the release date for the new Nintendo console.
