Now that the PlayStaton 4 Pro could be considered a lesser contender in the future of console wars, the battle between the Nintendo NX and Microsoft Xbox One Scorpio heats up as the Super Mario company prepares to charge into the battle head on with a release date.
In a recent news from TechTimes, it was reported that the Nintendo NX will be revealed this early October and would actually be released earlier than the rumored release date of March next year.
According to their its source, several analysts concluded that Nintendo will be releasing its latest console this year early October. This ignited even more hype from the fans and even more so that the only "next-generation" competition would only be the Xbox One Scorpio.
Still, there may still be room for doubts regarding an October release this year as Nintendo made a promise before to bring its fans and consumers the best possible experience for the NX. Releasing it later next year would make more sense.
Initially, Xbox One Scorpio is one tight competition. Nintendo NX was believed to have a March 2017 release as Nintendo America's Reggie Fils-Aime once said that the company will focus onto the NX's development more than their previous consoles in the past.
The Xbox One Scorpio may even find an even stronger competition with Bethesda considering Nintendo NX as a platform to release its games too.
In an exclusive interview with Metro Game Central, Pete Hines, Bethesda Vice President of PR and Marketing, stated that the there's a chance of consideration for the NX. That is if it shapes up to be somewhere as strong as the Xbox One Scorpio or let alone, the previous Xbox One or the original PS4.
On top of the highly-rumored feature of being a hybrid console and handheld gaming platform, if Nintendo NX will be somewhere near as powerful as the current Xbox One or PS4, then it might prove as a considerable option against the upcoming Scorpio.
