As fans continue to hope that Zac Efron would be part of the "Pitch Perfect 3" cast, it appeared that it would just remain a dream.
Is he not fit to be one of the cast members of the upcoming musical movie despite the fact that he was part of "High School Musical" and "Hairspray" before?
In an interview with Popsugar, as shared by Teen Vogue, Adam Devine, the 28-year-old actor's co-star in "Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates," hinted about his desire to see him in "Pitch Perfect 3."
"I think what's going to happen is they haven't invited me back to the movie yet," DeVine admitted about his anticipated return in the third instalment of the musical movie.
"I think they're slow playing it, but they're going to get rid of Bumper and they're going to say Bumper's younger brother stepped in and took his place," he added. "And it's going to be Zac."
The actor even continued to suggest that their other co-star in "Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates," Aubrey Plaza, could perfectly act as Barden Bella along with Zac Efron.
However, when it was his turn to say a word about becoming part of the "Pitch Perfect 3" cast, Zac Efron had this to say, "Not a chance. I don't think I could. "
In the meantime, Pop Sugar shared some details on what to expect in the upcoming film.
The first detail was on the stars who are sure to return to reprise their roles, and these are Anna Kendrick, Rebel Wilson, Brittany Snow, and Hailee Steinfeld.
The second update was about the scriptwriter. It was learned that Kay Cannon will continue to write the script for "Pitch Perfect 3" and the details on the cast members' characters.
The third update was the resignation of Elizabeth Banks as its director.
Catch the "Pitch Perfect 3" cast return to the big screen on Dec. 22, 2017.
