What could be the latest "Pitch Perfect 3" news saying? Has Adam DeVine already confirmed his participation in the film?
Previous reports have suggested that the actor, who played the Treblemakers egotistical leader Bumper Allen in the past two installments, will no longer be one of the third part's cast.
Is this already with finality?
Back in July, Amy Kaufman of Los Angeles Times tweeted that in an interview, DeVine shared that he has never any communication yet about the possibility of reprising his role in "Pitch Perfect 3."
"I don't even know if I'm going to be in it," the actor admitted. "I think it was, like, script stuff. They haven't fully locked up the story...They did not have me sign on."
Meanwhile, when it comes to the casting of Rebel Wilson as Tasmania member Fat Amy, he had this to say: "Yeah, probably. I think Rebel and Anna and Brittany are the three that are locked in to do it, and the rest, who knows?"
"I love doing those movies. It's so much fun," he added. "Schedule permitting, I would love to do it."
Is his being busy the real reason why he thinks he cannot make it to "Pitch Perfect 3"?
"I try to stay out of the politics of everything," he said. "What sucks kind of is, like, I'm booked through next summer... It burns me out, because I would love to do it, but I have all these other things going."
In the meantime, Anna Kendrick, who gives life to the character of rebellious DJ Beca Mitchell, told "Marie Claire" magazine that the "Pitch Perfect" cast is like "family" for her.
Is this a confirmation that she still continue to reprise her role?
The magazine's September cover girl noted that as such, it is "not [family] in the cheesy sense. In the truest sense. "
"We didn't choose each other, but if anyone tried to say anything against one of us, none of us would stand for it," the anticipated "Pitch Perfect 3" cast explained.
