Its recent success with its flagship units has pushed them with the likes of Apple and Samsung. Albeit the company's string of success, the brand is at it again by improving the upcoming OnePlus 4 or 5's touch input.
According to experts, the OnePlus flagship phones had a minor flaw that plagued its users. Previous phone units have allegedly been stricken by this technical glitch.
Reportedly, the touch input latency bug has been common among OnePlus smartphone units. The glitch usually results in a lag or delay of response in a smartphone's touch input.
Average users rarely notice the bug. However, technical and more privy owners have reported its occurrence in Reddit threads.
The latest victim of the glitch was the company's most recent flagship unit, the OnePlus 3T. Several critics have said that it's one of the brand's weaknesses.
Luckily future owners will have no trouble with OnePlus' touch input latency glitch. A tweet from one of the company's top-shots may have reassured fans of the OnePlus brand.
Carl Pei, one the company's founders tweeted that they have addressed the issue. In his tweet, Pei wrote the words "Touch Latency" with a check sign beside it. It may be indicative of a resolved touch input for the upcoming OnePlus 4 or 5.
Aside from OnePlus, other brands have also been victims of the touch input latency bug. Apple and Samsung users have also reported similar cases to Reddit and other web forums.
The upcoming OnePlus 4 or 5 is speculated to retail for $499. According to rumors, the phone will run on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 CPU. It also expected to sport a 5.5-inch full HD Optic AMOLED screen with 2,560 x 1,440 pixels.
