The much-awaited Apple Macbook 2017 allegedly will be released in Q3 of 2017. In addition, the device is expected to be available in two variants.

Apple is celebrating the 10th year anniversary of the iPhone in the smartphone industry. Such celebration sparks tons of expectations from fans and analysts. While the iPhone 8 is a given center of the spotlight upon its release this year, others are expecting that the company will also release the Macbook 2017.

Last year, the Cupertino-based tech giant introduced the Touch Bar to Macbook. Apple patrons are anticipating that since there were no new models launched, a new Macbook in 2017 might have a great possibility.

Specs, Features & Variants

Speculations are prevalent suggesting that the highly anticipated device will arrive with two storage variants. The entry level allegedly will have 8GB of RAM. On the other hand, the second variant is anticipated to have a 16GB of RAM.

Aside from the alleged variants, the Macbook 2017 is expected to be powered by Intel Kaby Lake processor. Meanwhile, a report from Bloomberg in February revealed that the company is developing a new chipset that might be used with the upcoming MacBooks.

According to the report, the chipset in development is concealed under the name T310. This chipset is said to improve the battery life of Macbook 2017 through Power Nap feature. This latest chipset is also speculated to be more powerful than the Intel processor designed for the lower range notebooks.

Release Date

Several analysts claim that the Macbook 2017 will be available in the Q3 of 2017. According to these claims, it is worth noting that the previous MacBook was introduced in October 2016. In addition, Apple does not traditionally launch or update its current Macbook lineup within a year. So the most solid prediction right now is an October 2017 release date, says Macworld.
