A former mobile giant is now on a verge of a mobile comeback after years of absence. Nokia's resurgence is now gaining international notoriety and is creating quite the buzz. Reportedly, the company is set to target low to mid-tier consumers with a new line of handsets.

According to Slashgear, the company is now preparing for a full American Invasion. Nokia's revision of the hardy 3310 and a trio of new smartphones expects to sell well in U.S. markets.

The Android-powered phones will allegedly hit U.S. shelves between April and June 2017. However, Nokia hasn't confirmed the exact date for the smartphone's availability.

Industry observers have speculated that the phone could be out before the end of summer 2017 according to Engadget. The mid-tier smartphones will reportedly be running on an Android Nougat OS when it hits the U.S. market.

Fans of the old and rugged Nokia feature phones got a big surprise with the updated 3310. The phone comes with all the goodies featured on the original monochromatic handset.

The simple yet impressive phone drew a lot of attention at the Mobile World Congress last month. Aside from the 3310, Nokia 6, 5 and 3 also got fans buzzing.

Nokia 6 will be sporting a 5.5-inch screen powered by a Snapdragon 430 chip and 3GB of RAM. The phone will allegedly have 32GB of internal storage and it's still a mystery if it will have a microSD slot.

Nokia 6 will also have a 16-megapixel rear camera and an 8 MP front snapper. Rumors suggest that the phone will retail for $247 while the Nokia 5 and 3 for $199 and $147 respectively.

The Trio will reportedly have the same specs except for their display. The Nokia 5 will sport a 5.2-inch screen while the smaller Nokia 3 will have a 5-inch display. Expect more details from the upcoming months, Stay tuned for updates.
