Facebook and other social media platforms were recently bombarded with statuses and posts that celebrated the annual "May the 4th Be With You" Star Wars holiday. HMD Global apparently wanted to take advantage of this situation and has recently released a rather entertaining new video that showcases their different Nokia-branded products set with the highly popular science fiction fantasy world.

The new video, which was posted on the company's official YouTube channel, features the Nokia 3, 5, and 6 is a stop-motion animation style short. The Nokia-branded smartphones were also accompanied by the official Android mascot, which also joined in the fun. The smartphones "talked" by displaying text on their screens, with the Nokia 6 showing Darth Vader's iconic phrase, "I am your father."

All of the phones were featured in what looks like a recreation of the planet Tatooine. After the Nokia 6 appears in front of the Nokia 3 and 5, the remake of the classic Nokia 3310 feature phone suddenly appears and proclaim that it is the father of them all. The video itself obviously didn't have a big production budget, as it looked like it was just made by a couple of employees in just a few hours, but it was still entertaining enough to increase the fan's anticipation for the release of the new Nokia models.

As of the moment, only the Nokia 6 is commercially available but is only limited to China. HMD Global previously announced that they will be releasing all of the other models sometime in the second quarter of 2017, as reported by Android Authority. All of the new models will be sporting the stock version of Android 7.0 Nougat, with regular monthly updates to ensure its stability and security. Hopefully, the release of the video is a hint that the devices are now just around the corner and fans may soon be able to get their hands on the highly-awaited new Nokia-branded devices.
