Lenovo previously unveiled their latest smartphone offerings, the Moto G5 and the Moto G5 Plus, at the recently held 2017 Mobile World Congress (MWC) event just a few weeks ago. Now, new reports are revealing that the company is now set to launch the device in different markets. Several European and North American retailers are reportedly starting to get stocks of both devices and now Lenovo is starting to roll out the device in Asian markets as well.

Lenovo is currently holding a big launch event in India today, March 15, where it will officially be making the Moto G5 Plus available in the country. The company has yet to officially announce if it would be making the standard Moto G5 available in India, but seeing as that its big brother is already out, it probably won't take long for the standard G5 to be available as well.

Motor G5 Plus Pricing and Variants

During the 2017 MWC event, Lenovo announced that they will be releasing two variants of the Moto G5 Plus. The variants include a unit with 2 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage and a higher-end model with 3 GB of RAM. The company also recently unveiled yet another variant with 4 GB of RAM, but it isn't quite clear just yet as to which regions will be getting the specific SKU.

The low-end variant with 2 GB of RAM will reportedly be priced around $229, while the 3 GB version will be around $295. There is currently no pricing yet for the 4 GB model, but it will obviously be priced over the $300 mark.

Moto G5 Plus Specs and Features

The Moto G5 Plus will be the first Moto G smartphone to sport an all-metal unibody design. Lenovo has stepped up with quality with the Moto G line as seen in the build of the device's fingerprint sensor and home button. The Moto G5 Plus sports a 5.2-inch full HD display and is powered by a powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 process. The camera setup is a 12-megapixel sensor at the back and a 5-megapixel sensor up front.
