While Samsung failed to sweep gadget freaks off their feet at this year's MWC (Mobile World Congress), especially those waiting with bated breath for the Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus flagship smartphones launch, the South Korean handset maker did announce the equally anticipated Galaxy Tab S3 at the recently concluded Barcelona event. The Galaxy S8 and its purported larger variant, the Galaxy S8 Plus has not ceased floating around the rumor mill.

Despite the hype surrounding Samsung's upcoming flagship smartphones, the recently unveiled, high-end Galaxy Tab S3 could actually play a significant part in the company's endeavor to amend its run down reputation thanks to the now defunct, Galaxy Note 7. Let's delve straight into the new tablet's specs and features to understand how it could revive the Galaxy brand.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 Specs & Features

The Galaxy Tab S3 boasts the company's trademark Super AMOLED display (9.7-inch) with a resolution of 2048 x 1536 pixels and an upgraded S Pen. Under the hood, the new tablet packs a Snapdragon 820 chipset, which is coupled with 4GB of RAM.

Moreover, the upcoming tablet will offer a considerable 32GB of storage space, which can be expanded via a microSD card. In the photography front, the Tab S3 sports a 13MP main camera and a 5MP front shooter. It comes with a robust 6,000mAh battery and runs on Android 7.0 Nougat with Samsung's own TouchWiz UI running on top, AndroidAuthority reported.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 Price & Availability

In the United States, Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 will be up for grabs for $600, according to the tablet's listing on Best Buy (US), which has cataloged the Wi-Fi-only model on its website.
