The recently launched Nintendo Switch has been well received by gamers. However, Nintendo did not stop from just introducing a new hybrid console, the company has something up on its sleeve for its Switch Pro Controller.
The new Nintendo Switch comes with a Switch Pro Controller sold separately at $70. For players who find it hard to use the Joy-Cons, the Controller is a good choice although it somehow appeared to be overpriced. Recently, Tropiux, a Reddit user, have revealed that he has found a hidden message. It was concealed under the controller's right analog stick, which can only be seen when the stick is pushed down. Underneath the plastic, if the entire stick is the message, THX2 ALLGAMEFANS.
Nintendo has a rich history of inserting Easter eggs for its most hardcore fans, reported Game Informer. Tiny surprises include putting characters reminiscent of Mario and Star Fox in F-Zero X on the Nintendo 64. There are also other noteworthy examples previously made wherein the dungeons in the first Legend of Zelda on the Nintendo was shaped into letters spelling out Zelda.
Aside from Nintendo's very own game, third party games have paid homage to Nintendo's past. For instance, in Lego City Undercover on the Wii U, if a player hijacks a bus, they will find that the bus is called Epona. It is the name of Link's trusted stallion in the Legend of Zelda series. Another example is in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. If players go to dig around the Estate multiplayer map, they can find a game titled Italian Plumber: Princess Rescue, an obvious part of the Mario series.
The Switch is Nintendo's latest video game console. It is a console-handheld hybrid that was released on March 3. The concept seems to have resonated well with fans, as the console's original trailer has already accumulated more than 28 million views. For most gamers, being able to play the recent Legend of Zelda game was a great pleasure. At present, the game is at a 98 on Metacritic. It is the fourth highest game ever on the website.
