The iPad Pro 2 will most likely make a come back in 2017. Here are the top specs and features that fans would like to see from the upcoming device.
Originally, the iPad Pro was designed to be a portable device that has the capabilities to replace a laptop computer. A limited suite of enterprise-driven apps and clunky accessories ultimately caused the first-generation iPad Pro to fall short of its target. Indeed, the device was a successful tablet, however, it remained just that, a tablet.
Apple this time is gearing up to launch a successor to its pioneer tablet, the iPad Pro 2. Fans are looking forward that this time the soon to be released device would surpass or just even meet their expectations. To make it easier to the tech giant, several fans have been releasing a list of features that the iPad Pro 2 must have.
Among the top features suggested by fans is the higher screen resolution iPad Pro 2. The previous releases have already impressive screen resolutions, however, the resolutions of the displays, most especially the 9.7-inch iPad Pro, is the same as the resolution that debuted in the iPad 3 almost five years ago, says TechRadar. It is the best time for Apple to launch iPad Pro 2 with improved screen resolution. A competitor such as the Microsoft Surface Pro is highly speculated to release a 4K screen.
Aside from the enhanced screen resolution consumers are also looking forward to an optimized iPad Pro 2 with enterprise-grade tasks and productivity. There are suggestions that the upcoming device must have Apps that are comparable in features to those found in MacOS. This way, users will be able to do tasks that were previously only possible on a laptop computer.
Furthermore, it is plausible is the new iPad Pro 2 will have a Multi-window support. This way, users will be able to simultaneously access and manipulate multiple apps on the screen, much more like a desktop unit.
The original 12.9-inch iPad Pro and its smaller, 9.7-inch sibling are excellent tablet devices that have enough horsepower to perform like a full-fledged laptop computer. While the devices undoubtedly had potential, however, its two main accessories, the Apple Pencil and the Smart Keyboard, were inherently flawed. The Apple Pencil was huge, cumbersome, and was just plain unsightly when charging, while the Smart Keyboard was clunky and shallow at best.
