After being an arcade-exclusive title for years, "Tekken 7" is finally coming to console. It will be coming this June. Fans can already pre-order the game. However, it seems like the pre-order case has spoiled the characters players who will feature in the new installment in the franchise.
The console version of "Tekken 7" will have features that were not included on the arcade. For one, it has a story mode, much with some of its predecessors. Yet what fans are mostly waiting for are the wide roster of characters. According to fans on a Reddit thread, "Tekken 7" will have 30 characters. There could even be more on its DLCs.
According to The Bitbag, Bandai Namco has only revealed "Tekken Revolution" character Eliza as a pre-order bonus. Other characters are still unannounced. However, based on the pre-order case that was posted on Reddit, a few familiar faces in the "Tekken" franchise will be on "Tekken 7."
The characters were posted on the back of the pre-order case. Some of the familiar faces like Heihachi Mishima, Kazuya Mishima, Jin Kazama, Ling Xiaoyu, King and more. With the promotion of 35 characters on the pre-order case, fans are hoping Bandai Namco won't back down and will be adding more characters to "Tekken 7."
"Tekken 7" will apparently have a season pass as well. Fans are hoping that the pass will indeed add a few more characters to the game. Since some have already experienced "Tekken 7" on arcade, they are waiting for an exciting news about the release of the title on console.
Since the story mode is not available on arcade, fans do have the story to watch out for. The Mishimas and Jin have led the game's story for a long time. It's highly likely they are back on playing the main characters once again.
"Tekken 7" will be available in North America on June 2. This is available for Xbox One and PS4.
