The huge fanbase of Hello Games' hit survival video game, "No Man's Sky," have been restlessly waiting for the next update to the game, which is easy to understand considering the last update was released back in November.

Diehard fans of the game have been waiting with bated breath to figure out what the new "No Man's Sky" update has in store for them and when it will roll out. As expected, the November Foundation update stirred conversations among the game's core fanbase, which believes that the frequency of the internal updates could actually be setting the stage for another colossal update.

In fact, a certain section of the community does not even mind shelling out additional money for added "No Man's Sky" DLC, although even the mere mention of that idea is likely to be ridiculed, according to Forbes. But much to their delight, this may not be necessary as the new "No Man's Sky" content could be just around the corner.

'No Man's Sky' New Update: When Is It Coming?

Hello Games took about four months to release the November Foundation update and if this turnaround time is anything to go by, the new content could arrive in March 2017. Moreover, the game developer is expected to tease the looming update in some sort of unlikely event in March.

The speculation also stems from the fact that "No Man's Sky's" lead programmer, Sean Murray will be giving a panel at this year's GDC (Game Developers Conference), which kicks off Feb. 27.

The lecture dubbed as "Building Worlds using Maths" is scheduled to take place on Friday, March 3. The said event is alluded to as a comprehensive review of the algorithm that generates the game's 18 quintillion planets.

Game analysts regard this as an ideal condition for taking the wraps off the new version. This may also be the right time to unveil the new content that the game developer may soon add in the bid to keep those in participation glued to the title.

Rumors running rampant online back in December last year suggested that Hello Games was gearing up to launch a new story content for "No Man's Sky's" PS4 and PC versions. Multiple sources confirmed at the time that the studio was bent on hiring additional staff, which included a writer to work on "No Man's Sky," according to Express.

Since this was towards the end of 2016, optimistic fans believe everything should be set for March. It's worth noting that Hello Games have neither confirmed nor denied this.

Despite the lack of an official confirmation, gaming analysts, who are well acquainted with plans and release dates of developers, claim a new "No Man's Sky's" update will release next month. More details are likely to surface online and we head toward the end of this month. Stay tuned in here for more updates!
