Hello Games' "No Man's Sky" has been subject to a slew of rumors and leaks in the past. In line with this, a seemingly new update for the action-adventure survival video game has surfaced online yet again.

'No Man's Sky' Latest Leaked Update
In their bid to keep loyal gamers glued to the game and to comprehensively enhance it, Hello Games guaranteed fresh "No Man's Sky" updates would roll out in 2017, according to Express.

But it looks like the latest one has managed to find its way on the internet in the form of a leak. Just days after the Foundation update release; fans have unraveled the game developer's plan to bring in ground vehicles in an upcoming patch.

A Redditor known as eegandj bumped into what looked like a reference to a buggy in "No Man's Sky's" files; however, the Reddit user couldn't track down an actual model. After digging deeper, the "No Man;s Sky" fan was able to ferret out nods to tire textures, before finally catching a brief glimpse of cosmetic appearance of the buggy. Now, data miners have bumped into more details that seem to reveal exactly how players can unlock these newfangled land vehicles.

Aside from an array of armaments and upgrades, ATVs are likely to make an appearance in "No Man's Sky." The package also comprises vertical boosters and mounted guns that will require a lot of skills -- such as hiring a mechanic, farming and building a terminal -- to be unlocked. Moreover, in order to accumulate the correct materials, players will have to complete a series of missions.

Hello Games has neither confirmed nor denied these speculations; however, it's worth noting that the studio's Foundation update was rumored to boast a slew of new features. Apparently, the new "No Man's Sky" update will pave the way for the upcoming content, which is said include new game modes, foundation building, space freighters and lots more.

'No Man's Sky' Review
With the advent of Foundation update, there is an evident improvement in the game's PC reviews. Steam reviews for "No Man's Sky," on the other hand have been a blend of both positive as well as negative feedbacks, which is still a considerable improvement on the extremely negative reviews it garnered initially. But much to the dismay of Hello Games, despite rolling out a new update, the overall reviews are still more negative.

'No Man's Sky' At GDC
Sean Murray, creator of "No Man's Sky" will be taking the center stage at this year's GDC (Game Developers Conference), which kicks off Feb. 27, according to ThumbSticks.

Despite failing to meet expectations from time from time, it is undeniable that the algorithms and formula on which the game is based are still impressive. It remains to be seen whether or not Murray will shed more light on these leaked details.

What is confirmed though is that he will be divulging more info about exactly how the modest development team at Hello Games not only created but also tested a systematically generate and a nearly infinite universe. More details about how players can create and populate their own planet are likely to be revealed. In addition, attendees will also be able to catch a brief glimpse of the development challenges and what could be in store for such techniques in the future.
