Last year has been a heck of a rollercoaster ride for most "No Man's Sky" fans. The game had an almost perfect publicity but as soon as it came out, it started a lot of commotion. From players complaining its promised features were missing to even lawsuits being filed.
Every article on the internet talked about "No Man's Sky" as such a big disappointment. It was initially promised to be released on a specific date, which had eventually built fans excitement for it, only to be pushed back. Unfortunately, as soon as the title was released, it was not that consistent either. Thus, to see how the gaming community was not loving it didn't come as a surprise at all.
Game developer Hello Games certainly may have been stressed out but this didn't stop the studio from supporting the game. Reports say that new DLCs are expected to arrive. The only question here is that, are these upcoming contents even worth the money?
Regardless, many still believe that "No Man's Sky" has all the potentials that it essentially needs to become a successful title. As a matter of fact, even Sony recognizes this underlying truth. But it remains exactly true that the game lacks particular key features and whatnots. This is quite so given the fact that the announcement of the arrival of the new update didn't even completely win the hearts of many players.
What's more important is that, as reported by Forbes, the upcoming DLC for "No Man's Sky" is still worth paying for. Despite of all the promises that Hello Games had broken in the past, the said expansion would reportedly fuel the hearts of the development team to compensate those flaws. Obviously, they would not risk of making the same mistake twice in a row.
It is worth noting that it would be acceptable if "No Man's Sky" game developers need to buy time to be able to make the game what it was intended for. They just have to make sure they would guarantee it and they will be able to integrate it in the game.
