After a long silence, the next "No Man's Sky" update might arrive next month as it took Hello Games four months before releasing the previous update. The Foundation Update was released in November last year and the time is now ripe for the next major update as fans are growing impatient and getting bored.

As reported, data mines of the game's Foundation Update shows evidence that the next update will arrive very soon and also shows some hint at what will come next. The data mining shows "extensive evidence of land vehicles" powered up by jet engine, vertical boosters and mounted guns, as per Power Up Gaming.

These features can be upgraded using "existing in-game technologies," says the report. For example, for a player to acquire an ATV, the first thing to do is build a specialist terminal and next to hire a mechanic.

There are also missions to complete in order to construct a buggy. Daily Star reported that the hybrid vehicle for "No Man's Sky" will support the following upgrades and abilities shown below:

ATV Jetpack Alpha: this is a gas-propelled jetpack transport system that can be fitted to the Hybrid ATV. This will let the player a short bursts of flight.

ATV Jetpack Beta: this is an upgrade of the vehicle jetpack system, where the maximum altitude range of the unit is increased as well as its flight range. This improves the vehicle's versatility.

ATV Jetpack Gamma: this upgrade of the vehicle jetpack system also maximizes the altitude and flight range of the unit. This renders the Hybrid ATV convenient even for the most extreme weather.

ATV Tune-up Alpha: this upgrade improves the vehicle's torque and acceleration system. The toughened shocks are also upgraded and a larger fuel system.

ATV Tune-up Beta: the upgrade improved the vehicle's air intakes for higher horsepower, ECU tuning, a stronger chassis. The fuel system is also upgraded for a longer range before refueling the Hybrid ATV.

Other upgraded units are ATV Tune-up Gamma, ATV Storage, ATV Photon Cannon Alpha, ATV Photon Cannon Beta and ATV Photon Cannon Gamma. These new information, however, was discovered in January and still have to be confirmed by Hello Games.

But there are rumors that the game's lead programmer, Sean Murray, himself will be revealing the update. This will highly be likely since Murray will be a member of a panel at the 2017 Game Developer's Conference (GDC) 2017 in March. "No Man's Sky" is currently available for PS4 and PC.
