It's no surprise that "Overwatch" character Bastion is getting an overhaul. The news was previously announced by the game developer, Blizzard. However, when the PTR update came live, players were not expecting superb changes to Bastion that makes the character seem indestructible with the right team.

"Overwatch" has ended its Year of the Rooster event, and while Blizzard has confessed no Valentine's Day event will happen previously, players still have a lot to enjoy. The PTR patch update has gone live last February 7.

The said "Overwatch" PTR update brought different changes to the characters. Roadhog and Winstons abilities were balanced and Mercy's healing potential was improved. There was also an apparent Doomfist evidence that existed in the Numbani Payload. However, the biggest "Overwatch" change fans are anticipating is the Bastion overhaul.

"The goal of these changes is to move some of Bastion's power from Configuration: Sentry to Recon, while keeping its sentry mode a strong option, especially versus tanks and barriers. Overall, Bastion should feel stronger and more flexible with these changes," the official "Overwatch" patch notes read.

According to GameRant, the most notable changes to Bastion was with his passive attack, Ironclad. This allows him to deflect the enemy's attacks more effectively. Ironclad also enables a "35% less damage while in Sentry or Tank configuration."

The changes are great, but apparently, fans are a bit surprised with the overhaul. This has left Bastion a more effective character to play. In fact, he can be indestructible given the right teammates.

A YouTuber by the name of BlameTheController tested Bastion and support sniper Ana. The latter's nano boost ability improves Bastion's Ironclad. In the end, Bastion was able to only receive 15% of the opponent's damage.

BlameTheController has uploaded this match up on his YouTube account. It seems like Bastion could very well become immortal.
