LG Android Wear 2.0 unleashed a couple of days ago and give it few more days before the upgraded OS from google invades other watch brands. Although Google intends to make the new OS, it still feels like a fresh experience that is worthy of unraveling. Here are some of the key features of Android Wear 2.0 that needs tinkering first.

Google Android Wear 2.0 layout is a major leap from the original interface. Users can easily notice that it is more intuitive now that changing the watch face to notification is a lot simpler. For older units who will upgrade, the circular interface can be swiveled to select apps while power button deploys the Google Assistant. The new LG watches have better way to access apps. Users can simply rotate the crown in a way we do with traditional watches.

Another feature to check out is Android Wear 2.0 Play Store which is independent of smartphones. Previous version calls for smartphone to install the app, then load them in the watch. This time around there is a collection of apps like AccuWeather, Foursquare, Telegram and Uber plus more that are yet to come, Greenbot reported.

Third, if users plan to deploy Android Wear 2.0 in their watches with sensors, Google Fit transforms into a full-pledged trainer. Apart from original pedometer and cycling-oriented sensors, there are tons of workouts being added. These include push-ups, sit-ups, squats and weight-lifting counters.

Google's ingenuity is testament after it deployed a dedicated voice-controlled assistant through "OK Google." Just long-press the power button to start asking questions or making reminders, Wareable said. Google Assistant is useful in updating shopping list, reminding to bring an umbrella, prompting of important events and so on.

Lastly, Android Wear 2.0 made it easier to reply on SMS without necessarily picking up a phone. while the tiny display is a handicap in constructing a proper SMS, Google deployed a dictation and handwriting support. Letters or emojis can be drawn to make a quick reply.
