Another interesting piece of the puzzle has been unveiled for the upcoming game "The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild." The game will have dungeons; but this time it is completely different.

"The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild" is less than three weeks away from its scheduled release, and some pieces are being revealed by the developer. Nintendo has decided to be discreet with its newest entry in the Zelda series and that has left fans with a lot of questions. One of the most talked about aspects of this game is the dungeons, an area Nintendo has specifically been very quiet.

One of the major changes in "The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild" is that each dungeon in the game will not revolve on a specific item for you to obtain. Zelda fans know that most dungeons typically center around a key item that you will have to obtain midway through.

This, however, seems to no longer be the case in "The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild." This time you will no longer defeat each boss in the dungeon with the item that you would normally acquire and you will instead only rely on the weapons you bring in with you, reports Game Informer.

In addition, the compass is removed in the game now. The compass has been present in most Zelda games since the original title on NES but it seems that it will no longer be the case. Furthermore, the map of every dungeon is quite different and is instead presented as a 3D model. The dungeon in the upcoming "The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild" seem smaller from previous ones in the series, this, however, may not be inclusive of all dungeons in Breath of the Wild, says Dual Shockers.

Meanwhile, there are new miniature dungeon-like areas for you to explore in "The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild" called Shrines. These shrines are characteristically only one room and feature a puzzle for you to solve. Nintendo has already confirmed of over 100 shrines in "The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild" so even if the main dungeons end up being smaller than in previous titles, there will be plenty more for you to explore.
