TTI Earnings Report Will Reveal Info About RDR 2
The latest Take-Two Interactive (TTI) earnings report is slated to be released today and fans expect there will be some revelations regarding the game. Considering the history of events from TTI, there is likely a chance to spot some discussions related to the upcoming titles "GTA 5 Online" and "Red Dead Redemption 2," as reported by Gamespot.
CEO Zelnick Talks About Competition Between GTA 5 and RDR 2
Though there could be just a reference at the least regarding the game, it is important that fans be all ears to the limited information that will be revealed about these titles.
When asked if "Red Dead Redemption 2" online will compete with GTA 5 online, CEO Strauss Zelnick said that he is fond of saying that "entertainment is an unusual animal." He also said that properties of one entertainment do not compete with the other. He also added that entertainment is just a want and never a need. So when nothing appeals people do not have to go and get an entertainment and when everything appeals they get everything, as reported by Vg247.
Zelnick Says TTI Is Excited About RDR 2
He also said that all his games are driven by quality, and thus there will not be any competitive dynamics between the games.
He also added that TTI is extremely excited about the online version of "Red Dead Redemption 2." Though he did not reveal anything about the expected sales of the upcoming game, he did mention that the original RDR had shipped a total of 15 million units with unique reference the fact that the game sold 8.5 million copies in the first year.
