Earlier reports suggested that Blizzard would be sharing the details of the Diablo 3's upcoming Necromancer class. In a recent question and answer session video, the visual effects artist and senior game designer of "Diablo 3" has finally given out some interesting information about the upcoming Necromancer class.

Blizzard Reveals Interesting Info About Upcoming DLC

Last year at the BlizzCon 2016, Blizzard Entertainment made the first announcement about the new Necromancer class update for "Diablo 3." They also said that the Necromancer class would be introduced into the game as a DLC, which will be slated for an official release in 2017. Recently, the team "Diablo 3" answered a series of Questions about the upcoming "Diablo 3" Necromancer class, giving out some of the important details, as reported by Gamerant.

'Diablo 3' Necromancer Class Inspires From Diablo 2

However, they have not yet revealed the details about the date of launch of the DLC pack and its price as they said that that information is yet to be finalized. They said that the Diablo 2's Necromancer Class was taken as an inspiration for the latest one.

New Necromancer Will Be Completely Different

However, there will not be any connection between the two Necros with regards to the story line. They also said that the upcoming "Diablo 3" Necromancer class would be much different when compared to the Witch Doctor and Iron Maiden. It may also come with some Melee options and brand new weapons. The new weapons in the upcoming Necromancer class will also have the two-handed scythes, as reported by Ubergizmo.

Own Reaper Of Souls To Play New Necromancer Class

They also said the new Necromancer Class will come with golems and temporary pets. Players will require Reaper of Souls in order to play the new Necromancer DLC, which will come with a Decrepify in the arsenal. The upcoming DLC will be available on Mac and Windows PC, PS3 and PS4 as well as the Xbox 360 and Xbox One.
