"Diablo 3" season 9 is on the verge of wrapping up as Blizzard gets the game ready for season ten, which kicks off Friday, March 31, 2017.
The huge "Diablo 3" fanbase has less than a couple of weeks in order to make any sort of further development in leaderboards and grab hold of more achievements for the seasonal rewards, according to a post on the game developer's official website.
"Diablo 3" season 9 will conclude on the following dates and times:
Friday, March 17 @ 5:00 p.m. PDT in North America
Friday, March 17 @ 5:00 p.m. CET in Europe
Friday, March 17 @ 5:00 p.m. KST in Asia
"Diablo 3" season 10 begins about two weeks thereafter. Check out the kickoff dates and time:
Friday, March 31 @ 5:00 p.m. PDT in North America
Friday, March 31 @ 5:00 p.m. CET in Europe
Friday, March 31 @ 5:00 p.m. KST in Asia
Season 10 participants will have an opportunity to acquire brand new gear, in-game currency in the form of gold, and Paragon levels, (which are levels acquired by completing in-game content and dungeons after reaching the maximum character level). Usually, a season lasts for about three months giving players a chance to battle for a spot on the leaderboards. Players may opt to take part in a season either solo or with a group.
A "Diablo 3" expansion is also expected to arrive sometime this year, giving avid gamers access to a new class dubbed, Necromancer. Blizzard has not yet announced an official release date.
Players, who reach level 70 on a hero before the season comes to an end, will get hold of gloves transmogrification appearances and exclusive chest. It's worth noting that both seasonal and non-seasonal heroes will have access to the aforementioned appearances, even before the season wraps up. Aside from that, players will be able to acquire an exclusive pet and new portrait frames to mark off their seasonal run.
'Diablo 3' Season 10: What You Need To Know
When the next season for "Diablo 3" kicks off, it is imperative for players to create new seasonal heroes and start their journey from square one. The game developer might even roll out Patch 2.5.0 along with the new season.
The hack and slash action RPG is slated to get a new Armory system that allows players to stack up five builds and swap through them on-the-fly. This will be a considerable enhancement over the current equipment manager, according to SegmentNext.
More details about the new Necromancer class; which was announced at BlizzCon at last year, could surface online in near future. Watch this space for more details!
