"Rainbow Six Siege" is free starting February 2 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. The free game comes with all the maps, modes and characters in the full version.
Ubisoft recently announced a free weekend between February 2 and 5 for "Rainbow Six Siege." This gives everyone a chance to enjoy tjhe game, including all of its modes, maps and operators. In addition, it is marked down by up to 50 percent now, which means that you can have it for $25 instead of $50 when the weekend ends.
For those playing "Rainbow Six Siege" on PC and PlayStation 4, you can start free play at 1 PM EST on February 2. Meanwhile, those on Xbox One can start at 3:01 AM EST on February 2. According to Slash Gear, players using Microsoft's current-gen console will need an Xbox Live Gold membership, while PS4 gamers need a PlayStation Plus membership to avail the free "Rainbow Six Siege."
The "Rainbow Six Siege" free play weekend will end on February 5 at 4 PM EST for PC gamers. On the other hand, it will end at 1 PM EST on February 6 for PlayStation 4 gamers and 2:59 AM EST on February 6 for Xbox One. "Rainbow Six Siege" can be downloaded from the Xbox Store, the PlayStation Network and from the Uplay Shop.
Meanwhile, in other "Rainbow Six Siege" news, the game's next free expansion, Operation Velvet Shell, will be out in February 7. The upcoming free expansion will include a new map, Coastline and two new characters, Jackal and Mira. Ubisoft notes that "Rainbow Six Siege" is going stronger than ever after more than a year it was released. Ubisoft claims that the game is continuously growing its player base.
