“Call of Duty” game developers have been very active for the past several days. They treated gamers to a lot of events, announcements, and content. Now, a couple of days following the release of the “Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare” 1.08 patch, Infinity Ward has decided to release a list of the details of the changes or improvements brought by the update.
Ashton Williams, the community manager of Infinity Ward, confirmed on Reddit that the recently released 1.08 update brought new leaderboards - which gamers can access right away. Also, there are updates on their way to combat records, as well as the emblem editor, heading toward the end of February.
Since the launch of the very first “Call of Duty” game, balance has reportedly always been an issue. That said, Infinity Ward has constantly been hard at work to make sure everything is fair in the multi-player arenas. One major reason why “Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare” gamers are excited about this patch is the Mission Team ranks.
These ranks can reach up to 100. Once “Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare” get to their level 50 rank, they can start working toward a Commander rank until Mission Team rank 100.
Just like any other patch, the 1.08 update for “Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare” will also clear up in-game bugs, including kill-cam display errors. Also, the patch will fix “an issue where players with akimbo weapons were immune to the Steel Dragon.” In addition to bug fixes, gamers will also gain access to the “Call of Duty” World League Personalization Pack - which is a payload increase in Hyper Team Deathmatch. Unfortunately, this advantage is available for a limited time only.
The “Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare” 1.08 patch is now available on Xbox One and PlayStation 4 and will only take up 2GB of storage space.
