"Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare" Remastered will have a Double XP event that will run from Feb. 10, Friday to Feb. 13, Monday. The news has been confirmed by the game's lead designer Amos Hodge on Twitter. Thus, those looking to play "Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare" Remastered this weekend, may be doubly rewarded. Moreover, a new patch for the game was released this week for PC, Xbox One and PS4. There are also a lot of bug fixes, spawn improvements and tweak to make C4 stick to helicopters.

According to Game Spot, Xbox One version of "Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare" Remastered received a tweak that other platforms did not wherein the total size of the game was reduced from 75GB to 60GB. As far as "Call of Duty: Black Ops III" is concerned, Activision has announced a Valentine's Day gift for the game. During a limited time period, gamers will receive a free animated weapon camo, "Bloody Valentine," that oozes blood onto any weapon it is attached to.

The "Call of Duty: Black Ops III" "Bloody Valentine" limited-edition camo will be available until 12:01 a.m. PT on Feb. 16. The camo comes in the game's Supply Drops. Once unlocked, players can keep the weapon forever. No Valentine's Day event or bonuses have been announced for "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare," though fans do expect some element to be added during Valentine's Day. In a report by Kotaku, Activision has said that "Infinite Warfare" did not live up to its expectation.

Activision CEO Eric Hirshberg said during an earnings call that the "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare" sales underperformed and the sci-fi setting did not resonate with players. Despite amazing gameplay innovations, the setting failed to connect with fans. The next "Call of Duty" game is being developed by Sledgehammer Games and the game will return to the series' roots.
