Hideo Kojima, famed game developer and creator of the "Metal Gear" franchise, is coming back with his new game "Death Stranding." This follows after he left Konami and the inception of his own company Kojima Productions. With his new title, the legendary developer aims to combine movie and gaming into one form of entertainment.

According to BBC, Kojima talked about "Death Stranding" while having an interview and tour of his studio in Japan. "If we just make a game people are less likely to choose that as something to do," Kojima said. "They would rather engage in something that combines different forms of entertainment together."

Kojima also talked about his company, saying that Kojima Productions is not on the stock exchange and so they don't have to worry about investors. He added that they are merely focusing on creating good games. Indeed, a lot of fans are excited over "Death Stranding," predicting that the game will be one of the best releases.

The storyline for "Death Stranding" remains a mystery. The PS4-exclusive game had already released two teasers, starring actors Mads Mikkelsen and Norman Reedus. Apart from them, legendary director Guillermo del Toro is also part of the cast. However, the director clarified that he is only there as an actor and is not part of the creative team.

The first teaser of "Death Stranding" showcased a naked Norman Reedus. Since Kojima has a history of creating sexy characters, it's likely a few personas in the game will be the same. Nonetheless, the developer has addressed his "over-sexualized" characters.

WWG writes that Hideo Kojima is planning something different for "Death Stranding." Hereportedly wants to avoid sexy characters that do not have a solid back story. That being said, if fans ever see such characters on "Death Stranding," they will have a deeper back story and a specific reason behind their appearance.
