"Call of Duty: Modern Warfare" Remastered And "Infinite Warfare" players will be treated to a few days of Double XP event. All the playlist on the Modern Warfare are subject to give players double points this weekend.
The event is called the "Weekend Warfare" and according to GameSpot, it will run about a week from Jan, 27 to Feb. 3. However, the for the Shotguns and Pistols playlist, it will only be available until Jan. 30.
The playlist will have players thrown into a mosh pit and armed with the said weapons. Players can choose from random "Call of Duty" game types which include Team Deathmatch, Kill Confirmed, Domination and Hardpoint. Gamers will definitely earn lots of experience points with this new playlist.
As announced on Twitter, players are bound to collect 2X XP and 2X Weapon XP during the event period. Once they join the game, their classes will not apply but they instead have to choose from the given five preset classes that were created by Activision.
Each of the five classes offers unique combination of pistol, shotgun and "Call of Duty" perks. This set-up will make it possible for gamers to try and play the kind of game according to their own taste and gaming style.
Meanwhile, the "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare" just received its new update called patch 1.08. It offers new leaderboards and several changes for the game's improvement.
To be more specific, the 1.08 patch notes added Mission Team Ranks, Call of Duty League Personalization Pack and a number of game fixes to address the bugs that hinder players from playing "Call of Duty" smoothly.
For the Codcaster and Call of Duty World League, the remarkable changes include the fact that multiple casters can now enter in the same lobby. Plus, the problem with team colors that was earlier reported to be not showing up properly on screen has been fixed.
Finally, the "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare" patch 1.08 will serve as preparation when the expansion called "Sabotage" is released on Jan. 31 for PlayStation 4. Reportedly, it will come with new multi-player maps and new update for Zombies that will feature filmmaker Kevin Smith.
