"Death Stranding" game designer Hideo Kojima teases his proprietary game in a recent interview. The legendary 'Metal Gear Solid' franchise producer teased that the game may not be like what he made before.

In a report by GameSpot via BBC Radio 1 Newsbeat, Kojima stated that his team wants "Death Stranding" to be something people can get into easily. But in an hour or two, gamers can notice it's not like anything before.

Kojima went on to say that he considers himself as a risk-taker, a person who wants to try new things. He added to say that bands that everyone remembers take risks. The game designer further stated that some bands change their music from time to time, adapting and evolving through the ages.

A band might lose some fans along with that change but will gain new ones. Kojima added that the game developer wants that to be his approach in the upcoming game.

Furthermore, he also talked about how he anticipates the different types of media will cross in the years to come. Kojima stated that people are always busy and the time a person chooses what type of media to experience is fading.

In addition to that, Kojima suggested that if game developers could make a game that people are less likely to choose the game as something to do, they would rather engage in something that combines different forms of entertainment together.

Also in the interview, the legendary game designer defended the way some female characters have been represented in his games. This is when it comes to overly sexualized characters of certain women in particular.

Kojima stated that he wants to avoid characters with big breast with no back story. Kojima added that if developers made a character that at first glance might look like this, then his team will give a deep background story to give a specific reason why.

According to VG24/7, Kojima is probably referring to Quiet from "Metal Gear Solid: The Phantom Pain." While the character had a backstory to justify its revealing attire, the character did receive heavy criticism from it.
