In the new "Mafia III" update on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC, developer Hangar 13 invites gamers to get new custom license plates and more car customization features. According to players, the recent update is a 1.3GB download on PS4 and a 1.8GB download on Xbox One and PC.

MafiaGame added the patch notes for the new "Mafia III" update together with its December update. Having said that, the only relevant change made on the previous blog post are the custom license plates.

"We've also added 20 custom license plates to the game so that you can show your flair when displaying some "NWBRDX" pride or paying your respects to "MRCLAY," read the added point under Car Customizations. "So switch up those gear ratios and get ready to race!" It should be noted, however, that what players are able to install IN "Mafia III" depends on what they have unlocked.

Hangar 13 teased the additional "Mafia III" update in their December post, saying more will come early next year. The developer has been laser-focused with its racing update, as reported by PlayStation Lifestyle. However, the January update is geared towards the cars' better performance.

Additionally, cars aren't the only ones getting a makeover. Three more outfits are also available for Lincoln. One is called "On the Prowl" and another is "Bad, Bad Mr. Burke." Hangar 13 also encouraged players to link "Mafia III" and My2K to get a three-piece suit outfit called the "Classico" and the "Il Duca," which is a custom revolver.

"Mafia III" scored 4.5 million copies in its first week and has loads of upcoming DLC. Hangar 13 also informed fans that the first piece of story DLC "Faster, Baby!" is almost done, but they haven't set a release date yet. Updates on the DLC will be delivered once ready, the devs added.
