Celebrations are underway in Moonglade as the Lunar Festival begins in the "World of Warcraft." The event is set to run from Jan. 21 until Feb. 4, and completion of all of the holiday achievements specified by "To Honor One's Elders" will grant a player title -- Elder .

"Every year the druids of Moonglade hold a celebration of their city's great triumph over an ancient evil," reads "World of Warcraft's" Lunar Festival description. During the Lunar Festival, citizens of Azeroth have the opportunity to honor their elders by celebrating their sage wisdom, sharing in magnificent feasts... and of course, lighting fireworks."

At this time in the "World of Warcraft," tons of activities await players, as everyone is encouraged to gather together and indulge in everything at one's disposal. One of the highlights of the Lunar Festival is getting to dress up in the best finery.

Players get to show off their new Dragon Head, Dragon Body and Dragon Tail Costumes. In addition, the Lunar Festival is the time to take on the challenge of the returning Omen, as the Demi-god prowls beneath Lake Elune'ara ready to attack comers.

"World of Warcraft's" Lunar Festival allows players to collect Coins of Ancestry, which are gained by paying homage to specific Elders all over Azeroth. A variety of items are up for grabs, as well. Simply pay the vendor a visit in Moonglade, such as the Horde Firework and Everlasting Alliance, a Lunar Lantern, Festive wear, and a whole lot of others.

For those looking to get "World of Warcraft's" Lunar Festival achievements from honoring and rewarding the title of "Elder," you could earn the following: Cataclysm, the Horde, Kalimdor, Northrend, Eastern Kingdoms, Lunar Festival Finery and the Alliance.
