Ubisoft's "The Division's" long awaited 1.6 update will come with new battlefield areas, improving its fundamentals for a bigger and better content. This update will carry to balance the regular tweaks, revamping the name gear and adding new leaderboards that are equipped with a whole new level of difficulty.

"The Division" 1.6 update is set to be available on Public Test Server (PTS) as Ubisoft wants players to interact with them. Using the PTS method, developers can acquire feedbacks from players so that they can hear and add more features that are missing in the game. This way enabling them to meet the players' expectations, the game's official site stated.

In terms of adding new leaderboards, Ubisoft is now about to release the Dark Zone leaderboards which allows all players to compare their performance with the other players across the whole "The Division" gaming community. This includes tracking every player based on their manhunts survival, rogues killed and extractions hijacked. These are then further divided into two categories- Player vs. Player and Player vs. Environment.

Ubisoft improves "The Division's" game fundamentals by expanding the game when they added three battlefield areas such as Dark Zone 6, Dark Zone 7-9 and Midtown East. These areas portray places in New York. Also, new landmarks are added to feature new set of enemies that makes the battle areas more fun and hardly difficult.

Ubisoft also wants to test their hardcore players in terms of game tactics and group synergy that's why they created the Legendary Difficulty Mode. The mode includes three battlefield missions such as the Napalm Production Site, WarrenGate Power Plant and Times Square. This mode is allegedly the most challenging and difficult mission that the game has ever made, Engadget reported.

"The Division's" upcoming 1.6 update will be released for free on the PS4, Xbox One and PC's. Ubisoft has yet to dislose any new information about its exact release date.
