Ubisoft is on its way of getting into full swing motion picture productions with its next Hollywood title "Tom Clancy's The Division". Although "Assassin's Creed" did not meet the expected sales and got negative reviews from film critics, the $210 million worldwide earnings is still an impressive performance for a newcomer.

In fact, the movie has a potential sequel as the film's director Justin Kurzel expressed his interest in exploring the Cold War in the next franchise title. So, it is no surprise that Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot is excited to share an update on the company's next Hollywood project that is based on the video game shooter "Tom Clancy's The Division".

According to WWG, Guillemot noted about the film that it's making some progress. And then, he clarified that the project is, in fact, underway in its early stages. This revelation must be good news for the fans who want to see the game's movie adaptation on the wide screen.

Oscar nominees Jake Gyllenhaal and Jessica Chastain are on board and this time, Ubisoft hired Stephen Gaghan to write and direct the film. Gaghan won an Oscar for the movie Traffic and also worked on the script for "Call of Duty: Ghosts".

With director Gaghan on board, hopes are high that "Tom Clancy's The Division" will get an impressive performance on the big screen. Meanwhile, the notes for the game's Public Test Server are now live for the Last Stand and Update 1.6.

The latest build is more focused on polishing the features that were already installed based on the previous rounds of public tests. Last Stand normalizes the max stat for gear mods, performance mods, gear bonuses and weapon mods among other fixes.

There are also changes in Personal Score, Mercy Rule, combat and weapons. Full patch notes can be accessed via Ubisoft Official Forum. Tom Clancy's The Division is available for PS4, Xbox One and PC.
