"Tom Clancy's The Division" Update 1.6 patch notes have been released by Ubisoft before it landed on the public server. Launched on Jan. 24, the contents and bug fixes from the in-development version of the update are free for everyone. However, players are advised that the changes and improvements are not final yet so some may not work accordingly.
There are several game changes implemented through "The Division" Update 1.6 and as GameSpot pointed out, the Dark Zone received an expansion. Players may now explore more areas to the North of the Dark Zone. Interestingly, there seems to be new enemies and challenges to discover around the area too.
As for the Combat, the time to revive a downed ally was increased from three seconds to five. Another duration that was increased is the Medkits cooldown time, which is now 15 seconds from 12. In addition, each combat will also have a short cooldown episode.
Moreover, there is a new bonus added to the game that increases the resistance to all types of status effects called "Resist All." Also, the resistance to status effects has been tweaked to reduce the effect rather than adding the chance to resist it. An example of this is the 10% bleed resist that will now lower the bleed damage and duration by 10%, which originally would have increased the chance to ignore it by 10% prior the Update 1.6.
The character talents have been improved too. On the move is reduced to 15% while Battle Buddy and Critical Save are now down to 30% and 20%, respectively. And for the skills, several changes have been incorporated on the skill power, sticky bomb, First Aid, turret and other signature skills.
There are a lot of several bug fixes and other gameplay changes included in the Update 1.6. To learn more details about "Tom Clancy's The Division" 1.6 patch notes, players can visit the official Ubisoft Forum here. In the meantime, check out the gameplay clip below.
