"Tekken" fans might possibly end up seeing "Tekken 7" release date to PS4, Xbox One and PC getting pushed out of the alleged early 2017 window, according to latest development.
An official Bandai Namco livestream on Twitch listed the release date for some of its upcoming games. Unfortunately, the release date of "Tekken 7" was listed as simply "2017". Ttitle was supposedly to be released last week of February. Also, a more specific time was posted by Steam which was February 24, 2017.
Moreover, the list was organized in an ascending manner, meaning the closest release dates are mentioned first. "Tekken 7" was listed beyond spring 2017 and reportedly will get delayed to summer 2017.
It has been almost a year since the new installment was released in Japan. The western console release has still an unknown release date. "Tekken 7" apparently should be releasing before March based on previous promises from the developer. However, it is apparently frightening that it's nearly the end of January and there's still no confirmation on a release date.
According to Counsel & Heal, "Tekken 7" Community Advisor confirmed that the first quarter 2017 release date was just a placeholder. Mark Julio further advised that fans should be waiting a little while for the official release date of "Tekken 7".
The title released a PVP live report promising more details about the EVO will be revealed sometime this month to make up for the lack of concrete details. This should apparently be enough for developers to come to a decision on when the game will be released.
"Tekken 7" is scheduled to release for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. This will be the first time that a major "Tekken" installment comes into the PC and consoles platform. The game publisher first released the title to arcades back in March 2015.
