Luca Todesco is apparently working on the iOS 10.2 jailbreak release based on the latest reports. This could reportedly be an enough reason for jailbreak fans to wait and keep their distance from the same hacker's Yalu JB tool. More so, there are many other captivating reasons not to jailbreak, at least not at the moment.
The Yalu jailbreak apparently has limited coverage. Todesco stated himself that his tool only works on 64-bit iOS devices with many exceptions which is virtually an iPhone-exclusive jailbreak solution that leaves out for now the iPad and iPod, save for the iPad Pro series. Though Todesco has unveiled his plans on making Yalu run on the iPhone 6 and iPhone 5S, its release date is still unknown.
Moreover, the Todesco jailbreak remains in beta. It goes to show that its testing is still ongoing and it can still encounter problems and instability. Todesco even made it clear that the jailbreak tool has glitches and jailbreak fans should use it at their own risk.
Furthermore, Yalu is not yet fully compatible with Cydia, meaning it wouldn't work with most jailbreak tweaks and apps as well. That being said, the jailbreak is apparently useless for many and the only thing left to do is wait for Todesco to finalize the tool and that other jailbreak developers have made the needed adjustments.
Most importantly, the top reason to not get the recent Yalu jailbreak is the current hint from the creator himself which he said that he will likely bump up the jailbreak soon to a higher version. It is highly possible that the Yalu iOS 10.1.1 will soon be upgraded to an all-cracked and modified version 10.2.
More so, even the jailbreak solutions aren't fully working on the iPhone 7 series. However, there is no doubt that the probable 10.2 jailbreak release is worth the wait and apparently, a solid reason to keep distance from the Yalu 10.1.1 jailbreak, at least for the moment.
