A lot of people have been expecting for the iOS 10.2 jailbreak release for the longest time. Note that Yalu iOS 10 jailbreak, which is created by Luca Todesco, is the only jailbreak tool that is available for iOS 10 as of yet. However, according to reports, Todesco is giving a hint on a possible release of iOS 10.2 jailbreak soon.

The only available jailbreak tool is able to free up -bit devices that currently runs iOS 10.0.x to 10.1.1. However, it is still in beta version making it only compatible to a few devices.

Todesco is considered as one of the leading pioneers of the jailbreak community. He is widely known for his commitment on exploiting and finding weaknesses in the iOS platform to create jailbreaks.

With the upcoming iOS 10.2.1 release, gathered tweets from Todesco himself have given hopes to the possibility of an iOS 10.2 jailbreak. As per his tweets, he reminded those Apple users who want to jailbreak their Apple devices with what to do.

First, once Apple rolled out the iOS 10.2.1 update, they should avoid it and second, they should be saving the SHSH2 blobs for iOS 10.2. Apple users who are currently using Todesco's Yalu iOS 10 jailbreak too should save the SHSH2 blobs for iOS 10.2 so they'll be able to downgrade or upgrade the firmware through Prometheus.

As mentioned above, Todesco emphasized that there is a need on saving such blobs since Apple's operating system is still highly vulnerable to hacking systems. He is now apparently working on an iOS 10.2 jailbreak in order to find ways to crack through Apple's wall.

However, with his said fix for the issues in the iOS 10.1 jailbreak, it will not work on iPhone 7 on 10.2, just 10 and 10.1. While everybody else is busy with "jailbreaking" their Apple devices, it is worth noting that it can violate the warranty and can cause the iPhone to become unstable and not work consistently.
