During the E3 2016 in July, Cory Balrog did promise that when the "God of War 4" trailer reached 15 million views, the game director would release new details about the game. Today, the inevitable did happened as the E3 trailer recently reached the benchmark of total views.
Daily Star reports that in early November last year, game director Cory Balrog was remained of his promise to the fans. Balrog tweeted on social media that reads "Oh c**p, are we close to 15m? :) Well I said I would do something so I will keep my word."
Unfortunately, fans and gamers can disregard all hopes of anything being released regarding the hack-in-slash game. Because, as of now, the game director already taken to Twitter stating that the game developers won't release a new trailer.
The publication further reports that Balrog's promise won't be a new demo either. Balrog explained that demos take huge amount of time to prepare and it's not possible for the team to release anything as of now.
However, Balrog already revealed a ton of information for the upcoming game. The game director already confirmed last year to a fan that the reboot could be a start of another trilogy. Balrog also confirmed that the first full playthrough of "God of War 4" is already finished, before the Christmas holidays.
Meanwhile, Segment Next reports that the hack-in-slash game will be different from the original trilogy. The publication reports that Cory Balrog recently confirms that the game will have alternate paths, providing players more freedom while playing the game.
In addition, several gamers are worried that "God of War 4" won't perform well on the PlayStation 4 in terms of visuals. However, Sony responded that the game will not suffer greatly on the PS4 as the game is originally intended for the said gaming console.
