iOS users can now experience the Samsung Gear S2, Gear S3 and Gear Fit 2 as Samsung has just recently announced that its wearables are now available at the Apple App Store.

Since the Gear S2's launch in 2015, Samsung would allegedly implement iOS compatibility for its wearables, in particular are the Gear S3 and Gear Fit 2. Gear S3 was released in the United States last November 2016 and is still set to release in some markets. Meanwhile, Gear Fit 2 was released earlier in June 2016.

As per Samsung's official announcement, users will be guided through steps to complete the pairing with their compatible Samsung wearable devices and iPhones. Samsung is giving their users more ways to optimize their wearable experiences and connect to Samsung's Galaxy of possibilities. Now, they offer Android and iOS compatibility with their latest Gear devices.

Functions and features may vary by device, but iOS users will still be able to enjoy the Samsung Gear S3's timeless and classy design, built-in GPS and IP68 water and dust resistance, and Alti/barometer and Speedometer apps.

Furthermore, the Gear S3 classic features a 1.3-inch circular 360x360 resolution AMOLED display, dual-core 16Hz Samsung Exynos chip, a 768MB RAM, a 4GB internal storage, a 380 mAh battery, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and the Tizen Wearable OS 2.3.2 operating system. Its Frontier model includes LTE and cellular capability. On the other hand, the Gear S2 features a 1.5-inch display, a dual-core 1GHz Exynos 3250 chip, a 512MB RAM, a 4GB internal storage and a 200mAh battery.

These Samsung wearable devices with iOS compatibility are reportedly currently available in markets where Samsung Gear devices are eventually sold. Note that the features and services of Samsung Gear devices may be limited for certain iOS devices and their applications. These wearables are compatible too with devices running Android 4.4 or higher.
