Looks like iPhone fans will soon have something to cheer about. A recently surfaced document suggest that the Cupertino-based tech giant is gearing up to take the wraps off three new models including an iPhone 7S, an iPhone 7S Plus, and a radically redesigned iPhone 8 in Sept. 2017.

Despite the lack of official announcement, reports of an impending iPhone 8 release date have been doing rounds for quite a long time. In line with this, the above-mentioned manufacturing document also claims that the upcoming Apple iPhone 8 will bear a striking resemblance to a single sheet of glass, and will oust the standard Home Button. Moreover, the new iPhone will feature wireless charging, codenamed "Ferrari."

The said document echoed previous reports hinting that Apple will roll out three separate iPhone variants in Sept. 2017. The purported documentation was posted by a Weibo account distinguished for revealing details from Apple's East Asian supply chain. The three iPhone models are internally referred to as D20, D21, and D22 and are slated to hit the store shelves in 2017, according to Chinese website cnBeta (via Express).

For reference, the Apple iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus are bearing codenames D10 and D20 respectively during development.

Apple iPhone 8 Design & Build

The new iPhone is likely to up the ante as far as the design department is concerned. The iPhone 8 is said to sport an edgeless design, coupled with a curved OLED display.

As far as the manufacturer of Apple's OLED panels is concerned, Bloomberg suggests that Apple could team up with Canon Tokki Corp, the company that makes the machines capable of manufacturing OLED panels on a large scale.

If this proves to be true, Apple iPhone 8 model might be terribly short supplied when it releases next year as Canon Tokki is already making every effort to keep pace with the current demand for its state-of-the-art machines, which when fully operative, take up an impressive 328 feet on the production line.
