Apple iPhone 8 is, without an iota of doubt, the year's most anticipated smartphone. Thus, it's hardly surprising that the rumor mill has not ceased churning speculations around the Cupertino-based tech firm's next flagship smartphone.

Barely three months after the Apple iPhone 7 release, iPhone fanatics are already clamoring for the Apple iPhone 8. If rumors doing rounds everywhere are anything to go by, the popular handset maker has a fair idea on what tech buffs are expecting from the upcoming device.

Rumors about the Apple iPhone 8 have been running rampant all over the internet. If these speculations come to fruition, it means that Apple's upcoming flagship smartphone will be simply irresistible. Other rumors also suggest that the Apple iPhone 8 will be up for grabs in three different models with diverse sizes and images, which are expected to come out better on screen.

Apple is currently testing ten distinct prototypes for its iPhone 7 successor, which might come bearing the moniker Apple iPhone 8. There's even hearsay that one of the aforesaid prototypes will sport a bezel-less OLED. Moreover, Apple iPhone 8 is likely to boast a curved screen and bury the touch sensor under screen.

Apple is also working on touch sensor structures and display of electronic gadgets at the moment. The patent focuses on how touch sensors can be added to any side of the smartphone. Meaning, this technique will facilitate new input sources. In addition, Apple will oust the physical buttons in favor of the aforementioned touch sensors. This might also open up a whole new avenue of possibilities for the smartphone's UI, while using the back of the device for scrolling or for turning a page, Forbes reported.

Meanwhile, it looks like Apple's arch-rival Samsung is gearing up to lock horns with the Cupertino company's upcoming smartphone by gearing up Samsung Galaxy S8 with features that have long been rumored for the iPhone 8, MacRumors reported.

The rumored features for Samsung Galaxy S8 include a virtual home button, which is embedded in the display, and a bezel-free OLED screen.
